Garmin Edge 830 and Apple Watch 8 have different average speeds and the ride time.

I use my Apple Watch 8 and Garmin Edge 830 for cycling. However. the average speed is slower on the Garmin and the time is off by about 2 - 3 minutes for a 60 minute ride. The Apple Watch has the accurate information. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Is the watch configured to using moving time as the basis for avg speed and the Edge not? E.g. Are you using auto-pause on the Edge. It sounds like that is not configured.
