is there a way to set the backlight always on?

I am currently using my 830 on a trainer in the basement while I recover from a serious injury. I can read it well when the backligh is on, but once it goes off, thel lighting in my basment is too poor for me to see it. As I am only doing short rides, battery life is not a concern.

Thanks. Just like Garmin to put it at the sort end of th list of options as opposed to the long time end of options. I guess thats why I never found it.
