Hi, After seeing the reviews of the new Karoo, it just reminded me of how horribly wasteful Garmin is with the screen and data fields.
The numbers use around 25% of the area as they all need a litte label on top.
i Would LOVE a large font (old rider) mode, for the build-in fields where the label maybe was just an overlay on the initial screen, so the numbers could fill the squares. Maybe a tiny unit on the side. I mean most ride with the same screens forever, we know what the fields are!
I know this is in wain, i also know there are many battery-sucking IQ apps that you can customize. But when i see the wahoos and now the Karoo, i get reminded of how bad the Garmin default screens are.
Use the screen estate please!!!
