Battery low after 6h ride

On my Edge 830 the battery is nearly empty after a 6h ride, noticed it in the last weeks. Firmware is 9.75 and no IQ apps installed. Anyone else noticed this problem?

    No, mine is still working okay (my Edge is about ~4 years old now). What you could try is a kind of calibration of the battery (don't know if that would really help): drain the battery till the Edge switches off and then do a full charge.

    How old is your Edge? May also be that the battery is at its end. For preserving the health there is an app called 'Charge Monitor' in the IQ shop. With it you can trigger an alarm while charging when it reaches a certain battery level. For best health keep the battery between 20 and 80% charged.

    check the backlight's setting at first

    Edge is exactly 1 year old. Backlight was down to 0 or on auto, made no difference.

    press and hold the power button for 15-20secs (until the unit turns off by itself), it is the reboot process. turn on, and check again the battery drain.
