The dream : in locked mode, screen scroll with button lap...

In bad weath conditions, the screen can not be used... Every people doesn't have di2 to do this with the di2 buttons.

So could it be possible, in locked mode, to use the lap mode or another button to roll screen ?

    Buy a remote.  Works great, can page through without your hands ever leaving the bars.

    So screen swiping between training pages does work with the screen lock on, but you need to have the timer active for it to work.

    with 830? i tried it and no, it is not working. if the touchschreen is locked, you can swipe the pages with swiping the display, but the lap and start buttons are doing their own task (trigger a lap and pause/stop the activity) . The 840 is working as the OP wants, that if the touchscreen is locked then that is totally locked, swiping is not working on the display, and you can moving between training pages with the up and down buttons on the left side. But that has these extra buttons...
