FTP test stopped half way on garmin 1030

hi!

i was doing today my ftp test with my 1030 edge computer and the test stopped and gave me my ftp results only 12 min into the test.

any idea why this could happens ?

I have experienced a similar thing on my Edge 840 combined with Tacx Flow Smart Trainer. The FTP test on the Edge starts smoothly and after finishing the fourth ramp it simply does not proceed to the next ramp. Happened twice and the second time I made sure to perfectly run the Watts requires in the step. I can continue pedalling at the current resistance and after manually stopping the activity it suggests a new FTP. However, I would like to do more than four ramps since I am not at my limit yet. I have no clue what the problem is.
