two different navigation map screens.

I zoom in/out a lot, during (offroad) biking, to see if I can take a next turn or I have to go back in case I miss a turn.

Zoom in/out is slow (specially with auto pause) and I have to get my hand off the bars to touch the screen.

I use the Shimano remote buttons to control my screens.

It would be great if I can switch between screens,  a direction map (normal view) and a zoomed out direction map to get a quick overview.

Maybe I can use Di2 programming to zoom in/out. But that is still slow, and I already use it for other functions.

  • Hi, after riding two days in an unknown area, following a track I just had the same request. Zooming on rough terrain is very difficult, I rather mark a point, need to hit the small back button and so on ...

Having a second map screen with a different zoom level would make the life much easier. Just changing between the screens with a quick swipe.

@Garmin please take this up as a feature request.
