Cannot power off by holding power button

I have to repeatedly hold the power button down to get the power off screen to come up. Most times, the unit justs beeps several times and screen goes blank but is still on.

How can I turn this thing off?

Does the power button appear stuck or sticky? You could try the troubleshooting steps here: A Button on My Edge® Cycling Computer Is Stuck or Hard to Press. If that doesn't resolve your issue, please contact your local Product Support team.
