Is it possible to update the installed Garmin North America maps over wif? USB is painfully slow.
No and Wifi on the Edge is even slower ;)
How slow is slow?
It takes about 45 min on the 1030 and 1030+ (I’ve timed both). (Garmin’s estimates are much longer.)
Given that maps are updated no more than twice a year and that it’s not a process you have to watch over, why not set it up to update and go to lunch?
I’m puzzled as to why anybody cares about how long it takes.
Don't exactly know how slow, but based on uploading activities and downloading a route from komoot, it's extremely slow over WiFi.
