The data, recorded from my rides shows incorrect elevation. It's not just a little off, it shows half of what it reality is. Today I was up at 1300 meters mark, but the recording shows only 600-650 maximum elevation. What's going on?

No, there is no moisture in the barometer hole. I actually found when it started going off. In January I was riding the same road that showed 750-800 m total ascent. A few days later it showed 434m. Since then it is consistently showing approximately half of what I would expect. I tried cleaning the hole with soapy water then drying it, but it does not seem to help. I think the thing is broken. I wish I could disable the altimeter and rely on GPS data.
Apparently this is a common issue reported on youtube:
A friend of mine has the same problem. 3 devices changes, it is an hardware bug i souppose.
Yes, that's what the guy in the video I posted earlier is saying.
I noticed that when I cleaned the two tiny holes on the back of the devices and blew air, things started to change. Before this, the data was very weird. E.g. - on a single ride it could show 250m ascent and 2m decent, which is really weird since the ascent should equal decent. However yesterday it showed ascent the same as descent, although it was about a quarter of what it should have been after elevation correction was applied. Nonetheless today the data was only 25% smaller - 64m instead of 84m after correction. I think that the construction of the altimeter is flowed. When I blew the air into the holes, quite a few drops of water came out, which means that the internal volume of the sensor is large, so that when water gets inside it is trapped in there and the device is not working properly.
The altitude measurement was always largely correct. Since the last update (9.75) there seems to be a bug: Although I have the GPS active long after switching it on and have also corrected the altitude according to the waypoint at "Start", I already have 200 hm after about 5 flat km. I think the firmware is buggy!
The altitude measurement currently produces almost twice the correct values (after recalculation in Strava or something).
