Edge 830 Version 9.75 USB and Wifi problems

After the update from former Software version to Edge 830 Version 9.75 : I cannot connect to Win10 Computer anymore as I did before .

- In Fact I want to transfer a GPX file from the Win10 to the Edge 830. Up to now that was no problem with USB but now the Win10 does not recognize the Edge830.

- And the Edge 830 has problems to connect to the Wifi. It has only connection to the Smartphone with Bluetooth.

What can I do?

ArneH Two common reasons a device is not being recognized by your computer as a drive is that Garmin Express is in need of an update or a regular charging cable is being used instead of a data cable. As for the Wifi, this can be set up on the device - Wi-Fi Settings; in Garmin Express or in the Garmin Connect App -Setting Up Wi-Fi on a Fitness Device

I have the same problem. The cable is the right one because the icon on the garmin screen is the drawing of a PC and I can explore the files with windows explorer.
I have a Garmin Edge 830 V9.75 and the Garmin Express version is V7.16.3.0.

Try uninstalling your sensors. I had same problem until I removed all sensors. After it connected, I added sensors back to the unit.

Thanks Freddi.

I have uninstalled all sensors. No USB connection.

I have done "Reset Default Settings". No USB connection.

I have done "Delete Data and Reset Settings". No USB connection.

I have tried the USB cable that worked in the past plus some other USB cables that work with different devices, no success.

I have diconnected the WiFi and entered the passwort, this works.

Bluetooth connection to the Smartphone works fine.

Feel somehow lost!

You may have a dirty USB port - have you tried cleaning your USB port? Use some isopropyl alcohol to clean the port.

I've cleaned my port and it helped a wee bit. I have wiggle my USB connection to get the device to connect to my computer.
