Missing courses

All saved courses have disappeared from the 830. 
I have latest update, and have synced. 
they are still listed on Garmin connect but do not sync to edge. 

any help appreciated.

    If the courses are on Garmin Connect, I don't think they will automatically synch to the Edge. What you have to do is upload each one up to the Edge, then synch and they will then show up on the Edge. 

    If I recall as I have done it, you can upload more than one at a time, then synch.

    If the courses did synch automatically without having to upload the ones you do want, then it would be a pain that everytime you synch, you would constantly be clogging the Edge up with courses that you do not want and then having to delete them

    Yeah that doesn’t really make sense though. The courses have been on the edge 830 for ever. When ever a new course is made it just gets added to it. 
    mall of a sudden they are all gone from the device. I can add them back manually 1 at a time, but that seems insane. Just another example of Garmin idiosyncrasies that are infuriating.

    Whenever I have ever made a course in Garmin Connect, it has never been uploaded to the Edge automatically. 

    I have always had to manually import it.

    It is not insane to have to load courses individually to an Edge, it would drive me insane if I had 200 courses in Garmin Connect and when I synched, a 100 courses, the maximum that can be held on an Edge was automatically uploaded, and then I would have to delete them all individually that I did not want. 

    And the next time I synch, the same happens again. That would be insanity and infuriating.
