H/R strap and speed /distance/auto pause issues since the 9.73 upgrade

Since the recent 9.73 upgrade...my h/r sensor is not auto connecting consistently( I have to go in and manually "connect" it). Never had the issue until the recent upgrade. I also changed the strap battery to make sure it had a signal. I have done a soft reset. It seems a little better now..but it will sometimes need to be manually connected.

And on my bikes without a wheel sensor, it seems my speed and average is a few mph lower and the auto pause happens a lot and takes a while to restart. This is while MTBing. It just started happening....and there are no leaves on the trees to block signal. It also ends up with shorter mileage. It does seem a little better since the soft reset....but was not a problem before the upgrade ( and under heavy leave cover)

Any ideas?

  • Your bike without the speed sensor will give you different speed/average reading being it is based off of GPS and not the wheel rotation. Information regarding this is mentioned in this link. I

  • Your bike without the speed sensor will give you different speed/average reading being it is based off of GPS and not the wheel rotation. Information regarding this is mentioned in this link. I suggest following the tips on how to improve GPS Distance and Accuracy from the article. This also stands true for auto pause. I would adjust the auto pause settings within your profile to see if that helps improve that feature. Using Auto Pause

I understand you mentioned this occurring after the most recent update, but there were no specific changes made regarding GPS recording or to Auto Pause. This is why we are recommending the above troubleshooting.

For your heartrate sensor I would remove it from the sensors list and add it back.
