Sometimes after a ride, but not every time, when I turn off my 830, I get a screen to update Sensor Software Version 4.0 so I choose to go ahead and update it right there at the trail head. But I get a "Connection failed" message so I thought I just needed to be at home and connect via wifi. So the next time it appeared, I waited until I got home, but I get the same error. Some questions.
- What is it for? Is it actually some code on the 830 or on the sensors (cadence, speed, HRM) themselves? (I thought these were just hardware devices)
- How can I get to that update screen without actually having to wait after a ride? It only appears after a ride.
