Edge 830: I have a constant blue flashing arrow (like the rid and green ones) which I can't get rid of. I've seen some comments on here but nothing that seems to fix it.

You are getting this constant flashing blue arrow because you loaded a course and started riding without starting an activity (pressing the start/stop button)

You can change this behavior by changing the Starting the Timer option. (for example to auto).

Hi many thanks for replying and advice I appreciate the reply.  The only thing is I can’t seem to stop the activity by pressing the buttons on the device they don’t seem to work or any other way of switching the activity off.  Thanks 

Nope start/stop button is the only way to do that.

Hi thanks again so if the start stop button doesn’t work then there’s a problem I guess.  Just to check that’s the actual button on the left hand side of the device. Appreciate the help cheers m 

No. The activity stop/start button is the right hand side button on the bottom of the device.

The top left button is the unit power on/off.

! sorry don’t know why I said left !   Yes the right hand side button. It doesn’t work , won’t switch the activity off , doesn’t even respond with a beep or anything like that.  I thought that was the issue but doesn’t work.

there are no right hand side buttons on a 830 model, unless I am missing something...
