Turn off connecting to phone while riding

Hi there,

when I ride my bike with my Garmin Edge 830 and my iPhone in my pockets + listening to music via AirPods, I do NOT want the Edge to connect to my phone as it drains the battery very fast (70% battery loss in a 3 hour ride with Edge+AirPods vs. 20% with only the headphones connected).

I found 2 scenarios on how to avoid this:

- Completely disable Bluetooth on my iPhone (no option as I want to listen to music via BT AirPods)
- Remove Garmin Edge from paired devices (bad option as I need to pair it again every time I want to sync workouts etc., this also leads to some issues with not being able to sync without WiFi etc., don't know why)

Is there an option to disable Garmin's automatic connection to my iPhone during rides?
