GPS Updating?

During a ride my 830 suddenly keeps showing "GPS updating" and "GPS successfully updated" then after several minutes it shows up again, at this point the 830 was not responsive after i tried to power off/on. any idea whats happening here?

GPS Version : 4.80

Old bug, exist on 530 too. Search forum for this issue (still not resolved since few years)

Quand vous rentrez chez vous, activer le wifi sur le 830 et normalement la mise à jour ce finalisé et tout va bien

Cela a bien fonctionné pour moi

HungryKid has this been ongoing or did this just recently begin happening on your Edge?

If you haven't synced with Garmin Express on your computer recently, please go ahead and do this and let me know afterwards if the Edge exhibits the same behavior or not.

Garmin-Eric it just happened while on an active ride, i synced it via GE and it went well after a few rides, but then again the "GPS Updating" shows up again but only only one time unlike the first time.. you think its a software bug?
