How to disable navigation while using Virtual Partner?

Or at least, how to disable all navigation alerts, sounds, map and text direction?

Here is the use case:

There is a route on which I compare myself to my best ride, loading a recorded route and the Virtual Partner (VP). So far, no issue.

I take this route 3 times a week, needless to say that I don't need navigation guidance.

For every alert, navigation guidance takes space on the screen when I would read usefull training information and the frequent navigation beep are parasiting usefull training alerts.

I could not find a way to have VP without navigation/navigation alerts.

I removed map guidance to only text guidance but NO guidance is required.

Did I miss something in the set-up options?

Any of you has a work-around?

    Additional info:
    - in the question above I used the word "route" instead of  "Course".

    - I have tried Navigation > Courses > Saved Courses > <course name> > disable course points;  but that removes only additional info from the TCX/FIT, not the guidance.

    - I have tried Navigation > Courses > Saved Courses > Turn Guidance > OFF (Could any one confirm it is "activity profile" specific? that would do the job, else this feature would really need to be either set for each course or for a given "activity profile").

    You aren't selecting a particular course when you change this (there's no way to indicate what particular course it would apply to). So, it applies to all courses (for the profile).
