Garmin edge 830 issue

Hello, I have a Garmin edge 830 with a battery that discharges very rapidly, sometimes within about an hour and 20 minutes. Is there a replacement battery for this? I've had it for numerous years so I don't know if there's a warranty service...

    There are aftermarket batteries available.  Quality is questionable and Installation is a bit involved.  Garmin doesn't replace batteries, per se, but will sell you a refurbished unit in exchange for your current. one. IDK the price, but it's something like $125.

    Unsolicited advice: A better title might have been, "Extremely short battery life!" which might prompt more of those with knowledge of that specific problem to click on it and respond.

    I'd suggest contacting Garmin as they are generally pretty good with this sort of thing.  I've had my 830 since it came out (3 years?) and I've not really noticed a degradation in battery life (though the backlight does drain it).  My 810 noticeably degraded and when my kids use it only lasts a few hours.
