What does sensor battery "Ok" mean???

Hi,

Can anyone tell me what percentage "ok" means in the battery status for a sensor?

What are the different levels and which percentages does each level represent? Does "ok" mean full?

I just installed a brand new Varta Lithium CR2032 battery (expiry date Oct 2027) in my Powertap hub, and the about page on my Edge 830 displays the battery as "ok". I would expect it to say "good" or "full" but I can't find any documentation anywhere on the Internet on the different battery levels and what they mean. So maybe there are only "ok" and "low" or something? Please, anyone from Garmin, can you shed some light on this? Is my battery full or did I buy a faulty battery?

Have been using Edge devices since 2013. Havn't seen nothing but "ok" and "low"

In my experience, OK means not low and needing replacement. I believe the battery status reported comes from the sensor in question and the Edge can only display that. My sensors only report OK or Low.

As mentioned above what status is sent is controlled by the sensor manufacturer.

The ANT+ spec has support for the following status codes

The Edge just takes the code and maps it to a string.

new	1
good	2
ok	3
low	4
critical	5
charging	6
unknown	7

That is controlled by the sensor manufacturer.
