(Some) Sensors not auto-connecting anymore after 9.40 update

I recently updated to the latest firmware (9.40 according to the menu). Since that day I have had the issue that some sensor do not auto-connect:

Bontrager Ion: Yes
Garmin RTL 510 Light Portion (!): Yes
Garmin RTL 510 Radar Portion (!): NO
Quarq DZero AXS: NO
Wahoo Tickr 2: Yes

The Radar one is extremely odd. Generally all the sensors will connect immediately when I connect manually from the sensor list but on the next ride they again will not auto-connect. I have not had the chance to test with other sensors yet but this is obviously not a sustainable solution.

Any pointers and fixes welcome

Same here. This is unacceptable especially during triathlon race, when you don't have time to connect all sensors after getting the bike.

Is any possibility to go back to lower firmware?

Same here, none of my sensors (Bontrager Flare RT, 4iiii power meter, Garmin chest strap) autoconnect after waking up from sleep, I need to either restart the 830 or manually connect the sensors.

I habe the same problem, but I had it already at 9.30.

No one of my senors are automaticly reconnecting:
- DI2
- Heartrate
- Radar
- Powermeter
- Speed

except DI2 all Sensors are Garmin products.

I habe to restart the Edge or connect every senors by hand.

For me the restart was solving it in 9.30 but under 9.40 I *sometimes* have to manually connect even after a restart. It’s really tedious. The other thing is *sometimes* it won’t connect manually until I restart under 9.40

Hi there, i had the same issues during my last ride: Vector 3, DI2 didn‘t connect automatically, but no problems with Garmin cheststrap, speedsensor and light/radar…

I've had it twice now that none of my sensors auto connected. First time I thought it was just a glitch, but yesterday it took me 15min before the ride to get my sensors to connect. In the end I had to power cycle the edge and manually connect every sensor to get it to work.

Sensors:

Favero assioma duo
Polar H10 hr monitor
Garmin Varia 515
Shimano Di2
Generic speed sensor

I’ve seen it too. Workaround is to go to the menu in the sensors screen and search again so it finds all the sensors. Much quicker than connecting individually.
