Firmware 9.40 new issues

First ride today after the update.

Lots of radar issues, the warnings now seem laggy. Still showing vehicles when they have gone and not showing sometimes when there is a vehicle.

Also, several disconnects and errors from radar.

Secondly, I had a false positive critical alert which sometimes happens when you pull over at the side of the road, except this time I got a notification at the top of the screen that the alert had been triggered and to press to cancel..... There was nothing to press so I rode on. Then my phone started the alarm countdown. I had to stop again to get my phone out to cancel the alert. The cancel button never showed at the bottom of the screen. Of the 830.

Also, no drink alerts anymore.

Neither of the above have ever been am issue before.

The drink alerts issue was seen on 9.30 also. What does help is toggling the alert off and on.

I just updated my 830 and after I got done, it indicated I needed to update the Varia Vision. No problem, I hooked up that and Garmin said I was up to date with my Varia Vision. Since they no longer make/support the Vision, I think it was odd. I know the Vision is not a popular toy, but has anyone else got this issue?

I refused to install 9.40; but obviously it did installed mysteriously. Now the light network wasn't working anymore and nowI have VARIA radar disconnect/reconnect constantly... Awful!

Hi, I have the same issue, did you manage to wake up the connection with the radar? I am solving with Czech Garmin, thay recommended to update fw on the radar, but it did not help, really awful!
