Issues with HR and Edge 830 since update of version 9.30

Since I updated my Edge 830 with version 9.30, I’m having issues with HR readings.

Either it keeps showing 72 BPM, no data or connection with the HR dropping out.

Is anyone having the same issues? How can I fix it?

Already removed the sensor and added again but did not do any good.

    Not sure if this is just on 9.30 for you (I did not experienced (or noticed such on Edge830 running now 9.30 and ridden twice)) but check if your headlight may interfere. i once had one that while flashing generated a huge frequency interference and only notice that it was the light when i had no issue and actually the light was off. worth trying...

    I found that my issue was with the HRM. It went dead.

    there was a time once that I had to replace the battery. When I opened to put the new batteries, the screws wholes dried up and never fully isolated the unit since then.

    See Pics below.

    I believe the sweat/rain water/water splash entered the unit and burned the circuits.

    I got a HRM from a friend and it is working fine.

    Funny thing! I've made a second tour tour with the 830 with actual firmware installed and the HRM Dual and suddenly I had also a HR of 72! I was instantly thinking of your problem.

    HRM Dual was connected to the 830. But the value was constant at 72. 

    Solution was to lift all of the four pads of the belt of my chest. They had been sticky on my skin, so I think there had been good contact. But after this the HR values raised over the seconds to the correct value.

    I've got this problem on my Edge 530 after the 9.30 update as well. Prior to the update had absolutely no issues.

    Have tried changing the HRM battery, re-pairing it with the Edge unit, and switching from ANT+ to BLE. None of these worked.

    Same issue with my 530 after 9.30 upgrade. I tried re-pairing, but now it does not even pair anymore. Is there a way to downgrade?

    72 seems to be some default value. Seems to hit that whenever I have issues
