Turn by turn directions stops

I’ve been using my Garmin for a while now, but the last few courses the turn by turn directions start to act weird after a few kilometers. 

the coarse is still correct, so I am able to follow the map, but it’s annoying to keep staring at it all the time. I tried to stop the coarse and start it again, tried to deactivate DEM Garmin (as a read on the forum), but none of these help.

Anyone else having this? And more important, does anyone know a fix for this?

    Hi did you find a solution to this problem? I have exactly the same issue on my edge 1040. Comes and goes but very annoying.

    I had kind of similar issues with a custom map. What I did was doing a reset and reinstalling the map. That fixed it for me.

    Before doing a reset I would reinstall the map first and check if that solves the issue. If not do a reset, map install.
