830 display

Has anyone else had this happen to their 830? When I pressed the start/stop button the screen just cycled through different screen colours. Resolved the issue with the good old turn in on and off solution, but can't find out if this is an issue that I need to get sorted or some new amazing psychedelic update to add a bit of interest to my rides?

You somehow entered the diagnostic screen. A combination of buttons will get you there - Turn off the device, press the power button, press and hold the start button.

Can it be that one of the buttons is keeping pressed continiously by the protective cover, or collected dirt causing the key not coming back to its 'off' position?

Holding the activity start/stop button while powering the unit on will put it into test mode.
