Garmin Edge 830 MTB Bundle packaging

Hello everyone,

Hope all goes good : )

I would like to ask all other Garmin 830 Edge owners 2 questions which I am wondering.

Basically I ordered brand new Garmin Edge 830 MTB Bundle, here are questions.

1. Half of the parts in package were already unpacked - some of them packed.... Is it something which is normal? (please see attach bellow) 

2. Second question is a little bit weird, but anyway - on the back side of Garmin, I noticed that it has some small circle sign, something like
something was glued and someone unglued it, I tried to clean it up and remove but - no success....

At the end of the day, I have a feeling that I was deceived and they sold me used or defected product...

I would really appreciate if someone could take a look on their Garmin 830 MTB Bundle device and let me know if you have same with packaging and device back circle as well.

    I don't have the bundle, but that circle does not appear on the unit I have and does not look correct.

    Hello, I have the bundle for a longer time, so I don't know exactly which parts were in a package and which are not. But on Youtube is a unboxing Video. In this video you can see that some parts are not in a package:

    The circle on the back is not on my Edge 830.

    But what could be normal is, when you connect the 830 with a USB Cable to load the battery that the battery shows now power. I had two 830 and both had 0% battery capacity.

    What was more important for me, was a good display. One of the 830 had a very long battery runtime, but the Display was not so sharp or the writing was bolder on the display. And when I used auto brightness it was on the lowest level very dark, so I had problems to read the writing or numbers in the dark and the Display had a little red tint with lowest Backlight. 

    The other 830 was brighter a the lowest auto brightness level and the writing and numbers are finer not so bold and it has no red tint. But the battery runtime is not so long as the other 830 but it is still 17 to 20 hours. So the running time is as stated by garmin and I have a display which is easy to read, even when it is dark.

    Yop, I returned it, not because of these question existed, because of no one from official distributors and re-sellers provided information if it was alright or not, I had 0 response : )
