I think this is a bug

When keylock is enabled, you can scroll down the menu, but it's not possible to scroll up the menu back. I think the menu shold also lock completely. It's also possible to scroll through map, speedmeter or high chart. For my understanding keylock should lock everything.

  • It is pretty logically to think that locking the display would allow no input whatsoever from the touchscreen, but alas, Garmin is not that logical.  When the display is locked, it is still possible to swipe between screens.  That's by design, not a bug.

  • I also suspected about the wiping. But if you can scroll down the menu, you should at least be able to swipe it up again. Otherwise this is a typical dead end and was certainly not intended.

  • Don't get me started. I love how when I get caught in the rain and lock my screen, it starts swiping on its own but my own wet hands can't swipe it at all.

  • I used the Edge for hiking. The device was the time with the key lock in my pocket. At least no settings were changed, but the card was constantly being wiped away and once even the touchscreen was no longer accessible. As I said, in my opinion "key lock" should actually lock all functions.

  • I fully agree.  Or at least give us a setting "allow screen swipe while locked."  It makes no sense that a screen lock does not actually lock the screen.
