Touch screen and swiping

Hello,

I'm a new owner of the Edge 830 and I just want to confirm how the touchscreen performs in normal conditions.

When I swipe in a menu slowly, it is like if the touch screen would detect finger position only every half a centimeter or so. The menus do not scroll smoothly but are jumping in steps.

I have not seen such lagging in any video review. Is it normal or is the touch screen defective?

Yeah. Normal. A swipe is a gesture. The devices interprets a swipe as a command to change screens. If you drag your finger slowly, it's not really a swipe and you're sending mixed signals to the Edge.

I meant navigating in menus, not changing data screens during an activity.
