Sensors reconnection is still not solved... FW 9.10

Hello!

I updated my Garmin Edge 830 for the new 9.10 firmware and I hoped the sensors (speed, cadence) disconnect and reconnection had been solved, but i'm sad this bug is still present.

Garmin please, when will you fix this?

Some months ago I went back to 7.10 and it works perfectly with a whole flock of sensors on multiple bikes; front and rear lights, remote, power pedals, heart rate, speed and cadence, enough to keep Panasonic…

Yes, my experience too, 1 or 2 things from 8.xx & 9.xx would be useful but not enough to put up with the new problems

My sensor reconnection issues are gone with 9.10. Four rides so far, no problem what so ever.

You'll have to search on me. Yes, and it has been described is some detail. But it doesn't really stick. When you are offered a firmware update on the Edge, click the "X" NO thank you.

It appears that for me the problems exist when there is no or very poor network coverage. Can someone else experiencing such issues check if the problem occurs in an are of poor network coverage?

I haven't noticed that - though I had noticed a clear pattern of interference from road speed detection radar and other road equipment using radio spectrum (e.g. traffic lights) seeming to cause the drop outs

I too have my sensors disconnect with the latest firmware. It's not as frequent, but it is still an open issue.

I feel like the only way Garmin will ever "fix" this is to just suppress the connection messages if a sensor reconnects within some small amount of time after disconnecting.
