my edge 830 won't connect to anything....

My Edge 830 has suddenly decided to stop talking to anything. It connects my varia and works properly there. It talks to my connect app for the purpose of tracking. It won't sync to the app to download files. my computer won't recognize it as existing when I plug it into the usb port, and Garmin express doesn't recognize it either when plugged in. It charges, it receives all its usual info from my PM and HR strap, plus the varia. |I just can't seem to get anything to acknowledge it exist outside that. Suggestions?

  • This is quite late to your question, but I suggest you try resetting your Edge 830. 

    Restoring the Default Settings

    You can restore the default configuration settings and activity profiles. This will not remove your history or activity data, such as rides, workouts, and courses.

    Select  > System > Device Reset > Reset Default Settings > .
