Light Network Garmin Edge 830

Very disappointed that new Edge 830 will not form a light network with Varia UT 800 (front) and Varia RTL515 (Rear/Radar) simultaneously.

Light network will form with one or the other but not both. Tried the various tips in the threads below but with no success.

Software all up to date.

Light network works perfectly fine on my Wife's Edge 1000 - which is about 5 years old.

Has Garmin got any suggestions ?

    If you have other sensors installed, try to disable/remove them and see if the light network is forming.

    There is an excessive thread about this issue on the Varia forum and it helped me with the same setup.

    It looks like if there is another sensor paired but it's not turned on Edge keeps waiting for that sensor before forming the light network. For me it's usually the speed/cadence sensor and as soon as I activate or disable it the light network forms just fine.

    Thanks for the advice. The network now forms once I have my other sensors connected.
