No bluetooth after 8.20 update

Today my edge 830 updated to version 8.20. Now I have BLE but no bluetooth. My phone is a Samsung galaxy note 10 plus with android 11. My edge 830 is non-stop searching for bluetooth to pair/connect. My phone does not show (bt)830 when in the bluetooth scan mode. And, garmin connect obviously shows the edge 830 is disconnected. I have rebooted. And, unpaired/disconnected everything I know. Any ideas or recommendations?

    I have a Galaxy S20 without issue. Did a 100k yesterday without any fuzz.

    Update: After numerous hours i did the following 1) deleted both my fenix 6 sapphire and edge 830 from garmin connect. 2) I did the phone "forget" thing on my edge 830. 3) I uninstalled garmin connect. 4) I rebooted everything and reinstalled garmin connect. 5) I used garmin connect to add and pair my fenix 6 sapphire. It works like a champ, and always has as far as bluetooth connection. 6) I added and attempted to pair my edge 830 via garmin connect with partial success. Before doing all of this I only had (ble) paired. Now I have (bt) edge paired but ble, a complete opposite problem.

    It brings me great joy you are having such success. I look forward to the day I have the same. First, only ble and now only bt. These problems surfaced with 8.10 and worsened with 8.20. Maybe someone can offer some thoughts how to resolve
