30 seconds to boot

I guys

After the 8.1 firmware version, my Edge 830 takes over then 30 seconds for boot. Someone has the same problem?

Thanks

  • This is not normal. Have you recently added a course/favorite etc. on the device? If yes, delete it and have a look, if the boot is quicker.

  • Thanks Volcker.

    I already deleted all files and folders from activities, courses, locations, debug, debugging, remotesw and newfiles and the problem persist. I've no user maps... I've made the factory reset and nothing different...

    Disappointed

  • This is in no way a Garmin recommendation, but I have found that having fragmented map files can lead to a slow start-up time.

    If you have a Windows unit try running the defrag utility on the Edge and see if that fixes the issue for you.

  • I there!

    I solved the problem doing this:

    - reset the unit (i´ve done this before);

    - reinstall the map via garmin express;

    - reinstall all updates via garmin express;

    - pare unit with phone;

    I suspect that, if only reinstall the map solve the problem!

    Thanks
