XC300 set up with 830 - should both pedals show on sensor screen?

Hi,

Just got the pedals and when I run through set up only one pedal's number shows up on the sensor screen (the left pedal). Are both pedals supposed to be listed as sensors, or do they act as one? (I haven't actually tried riding with them yet.)

    Only the Left pedal ID will show up. The left pedal is the communication controller it talks to the head unit and to the right pedal. The right pedal only talks to the left pedal. The left pedal combines the data from the right pedal with it's own data and then sends it to the Edge.
