Edge 830 not syncing and cannot be removed from Garmin app.

My Edge 830 will not pair to my iPhone. Garmin instructions recommend removing the device since I have restarted the phone and the Edge many times. When I go to Garmin devices in the app, it will not allow me to select the Edge nor to swipe to remove it. It seems to be stuck. Any suggestions? Thanks 

  • Do you not see "Remove Device" after selecting the 3-dot menu?

    • Open Garmin Connect Mobile app
    • Select More> Garmin Devices> Choose your Edge 830
    • Tap on 3 dots icon in the upper right corner> Remove Device

  • When I click the device, I never get the three dots. I have tried multiple times.

  • Could you try uninstalling the app, removing the 830 from your Bluetooth devices list, then reinstalling the app?

    I had a lot of problems with my Android phone getting it to sync last night, after I factory reset the 830.

    I had to use Garmin Express on my computer to finally make in sync. I also had to reinstall the Connect app.

  • Thanks. After multiple attempts, I got it to connect. It seemed random because the time it connected, I had not done anything differently from the many prior attempts.
