ClimbPro shows too many vertical meters

Since the last firmware 8.10, ClimbPro has always shown twice the altitude at the beginning of a mountain.

Does anybody have the same problem?

Me too. But the deviation of my device is not twice but about quadruble.

Try to upload the gpx file directly in the New File folder of the Edge.

Don't use GC

It's a Garmin Connect issue. As a temporary turnaround use Strava or other platforms to create and upload courses.

I'm using the classic Garmin BaseCamp and a third party OSM-map to create a track. After that I load this GPX-file via Connect to the Edge.

But I think the Edge uses the intern elevation map for calculating with ClimbPro or not?

ClimbPro uses the elevation data from the supplied course file. It does not use the DEM data unless you are navigating to a location using the navigation features of the Edge,
