the 'me' icon when in full screen

I am using the 8.10 firmware on my 830, and noticed that during full screen mode the 'me' icon moves off he screen, as I advance. This does not happen when in the 'normal' navigation mode.

I simply cannot imagine only my 830 has this. Full screen used to be my favorite mode when touring on a gpx file. By full screen I mean that only the map plus route line are visible, no other data fields.

What zoom level is the map at?

Zoom level is at 50meter
