Interesting. I’m having the same problem on my 1030 after the recent v12 firnware update. It connects, disconnects, reconnects, disconnects, over and over again, ad nauseum. It got so annoying on ym ride today I finally just disabled the Ant+ connection.
Similar experience yesterday. I did the same thing and disabled the sensor. I know its a firmware related issue as I was able to connect to the Di2 sensor with an Edge 1000. No issues. There are no recent firmware updates for the 1000
I will put a support call into Garmin this week and post here what they tell me
This has to be a known problem as there are other post with the same issue associated with older firmware versions. Despite searching I haven't been able to find Garmin's solution
A support incident has been opened for this. Garmin is aware as they have received other inquiries. Agent confirmed that this is a "software" issue and that it is not only isolated to the Di2 sensor. Garmin will follow up when a fix is implemented. No timeline on that.
I've been riding with Edge 830 + Di2 for a year and a half, and no issues with EW-WU111 in the seat post. Some updates came through recently and the head unit started constantly notifying "Di2 Found" so I unpaired it. Hopefully, Garmin can get this firmware issue ironed out ASAP.
