Hello, I'm new to the Garmin Edge 830 but overall I'm very happy with the device. There is though a problem that I have still not found a solution to. It seems to have a will of its own.
When biking it looks like someone is touching the screen all the time, flipping between screens going into the menu functions etc.. I bought the MTB kit so it came with a remote control as well and sometimes I can press the page button there to get back to the screen I want to see but quite often it flips back within a few seconds.
I have wondered if this has to do with the sun/shadows but this morning it was an overcast sky and the problem was the same so I'm doubting that is the problem.
This was not a problem for the first few days using the device but I believe there have been 2 software updates since I started using it so possibly there is a bug in the upgrade.
I would really appreciate some advice/suggestions on what to do.
