German language missing with v8.0 on Edge830

Hi, after installing the German language support disappeared. My device is now on English!

I haven‘t tested it yet but one important question comes to my mind. Have you improved re-routing speed. It was horrible and annoying!

    Connect with Garmin Express on your Desktop Computer and look if you will get new Language Files. Language Files are only available with Garmin Express on the Desktop Computer and not over Garmin Connect on the Smartphone or Wifi-Sync.

    Thanks for the quick reply. Why is that? SW update should be an improvement not a step back. I don‘t want to install another software on my computer. 

    What about my second question?

    If you read your text again, there is only one question. So, what is your second one?

    Language filed go missing sometimes on Garmin devices after updates. On mine, it’s mostly after betas. They are always in GArmin Express and can easily be reinstalled/removed. 

    that’s the little things you buy with a Garmin.

    My Edge 830 speaks German after the update from 7.24 beta. And no, re-routing speed is not improved.

    My 830 is also speaking German again after Garmin Express sync. Thanks for the info regarding re-route.
