No VO2max updates from Edge

I just realised that garmin connect hasn't shown any updates from cycling from my edge 830 since March. My running vo2max from my 945 have been updating regulary, but nothing from cycling. My last two bike rides both showed changes on my 830, but nothing reflected online. Any idea why?

removing WIFI connection worked for me, the next time after a ride sync with BLT only

Just got back from a 1 hour ride and synced over bluetooth. Garmin connect now has my updated vo2max. Thanks!

no and of course this problem comes often back when you enable WIFI again, often corrected in Firmware Updates but often forgot it firmware updates again, this is really a shame

my ride yesterday need arround 5 minutes to transfer with BLT, but vo2max is updated

My syncs also take awfully long recently. Used to take 30-45 seconds, depending on activity duration.

But lately like fleetsa mentioned, 5min ++. I'm curious why...

Did these rides successfully sync? I am curious if you are missing any other data, or if your VO2 Max is all that is not uploading.

Yes they did sync. Also I downloaded the fit files from garmin connect and can extract the vo2max value from them manually, or with goldencheetah.

Also, I tried deleting an activity and then importing it from the file. That didn't work either.

as i said before, here vo2max is only updatiing when disable Wifi, i don't know if it has something to do, that again the Edge runs out of time, because the time sync again only works only with GPS, every day i have a minute or more time difference when doing indoor rides without gps, mean the time isn't synced with Garmin Express nor GCM Android

I have had a problem with 2 Edge 830 devices failing to transfer VO2 max data via wifi. This has continued for 2 years. Some firmware versions never worked, whilst others transferred VO2 max occasionally. Until I got a smartphone I had to use Golden Cheetah to get the information from the device onto my home computer. Garmin have promised fixes but I have given up on them ever fixing the issue. Whilst bluetooth works it is much slower than wifi, and having the Edge paired to a phone has reduced the battery life during rides.
