Directional arrows question

With software update 5.00 directional arrows for round trip courses were added for the 830.

Are they only available for round trip courses or are they available for routes, courses, and activity review lines, too (like added to the 1030+ with sw update 4.18 beta)?

They are currently in the 1030+ beta release for all navigational activities. As the 1030+/830/530 share much of the same code I would expect that they will be next 830/530 release.

I've never seen arrows like that on my 830.

Thanks, so maybe this will be added with the next Update (or never). For Round Trip courses, they should be already available on the 830 ( according to the 5.0 update changelog).

A 530/830 beta release has not yet been posted by Garmin, but the 1030+ beta release is here

I have the latest release and the directional arrows are included for round trip routes.

Ah, maybe I got confused by round trip routing. You are meaning the option on the device to create a rather random round trip route?

Yes. I haven't tried to download a round trip created on connect to see if the arrows appear.

I just tried it out on the device. The arrows appear, but look differnt. They are red and space apart too much. I really hope for this feature for courses and stuff.
