Garmin 830 Korea map install?

I would like to install South Korea maps on my edge 830 which was purchased in the USA. I downloaded South Korean maps on Garmin map manager.

Both Garmin map managers Garmin express on my Mac book pro, isn't allowing me to transfer a Maps to the 830. Any suggestions?

    It would be a big surprise if non Asia variant of the 830 could display CJK characters. Also, 830 maps are region specific so America model shouldn't be able to get the Korean maps from official sources.

    I downloaded the maps from Garman international maps. Using Garmin map installer and Garmin Express the system finally synced with the 830 the South Korean map is now installed. Plenty of memory still available very impressive. Thank you for your reply ride safe.

    Thank you for your reply, yes it was a big surprise to me South Korean map with English characters. I first loaded just the Incheon, coastal region but then reloaded the whole country which leaves plenty of memory still remaining. Once I get wheels on the ground I'll give you an update on how accurate and useful the maps are.
