Garmin 830 Strava Routes SYNC Connect IQ Open App Problem

After sync strava routes i couldnt save activity or close the device.

When i attempt to close device it prompts me "Connect IQ app is open. Close the app before putting the device to sleep or powering off."

I think app works backend but it doesnt have to cut process.

There is no way to close this app or cache clear.

Previus versions didn't have this mistake.

Could you fix or give me a way for this situation

AycanT The Strava Routes CIQ app has been discontinued. The below link has information on how to best sync Strava routes now that the app is no longer supported.

I have exact the same with Ride with GPS. After Downloading a Route from rwgps, I could not save or power down the device. Same on a second Edge 830 from my wife. Any Solutions?

Garmin suggest to reinstall strava app. I did it. But My problem hasn't solve. So I decided to dont use iq connect strava

And I've tried out the "routeCourse" CIQ app, and this as well has this problem. "Connect IQ app is open. Close the app before putting the device to sleep or powering off."

So for me, conclusion is that this problem is not the strava CIQ app, but a change (bug) in the Edge software since this problem "Connect IQ app is open. Close the app before putting the device to sleep or powering off." is so it seems in 4 different CIQ apps...

Could you give some more feedback about this?

I"m not using the strava CIQ app myself but I think Garmin-Blake is saying you don't need the strava CIQ app. (he is not saying to reïnstall the CIQ app.)

You need to follow the instructions on:

support.strava.com/.../115000919304

Yep once you set it up following the instructions the others have posted then you just have to "star" the route on strava - it's a much easier solution than the old IQ app.
