Navigation promp only show map(no direction data field and no time to corner)

Hello,

When I provide my Garmin Edge 830 with a route, before any corner, a map automatically pops up indicating the direction of travel with an arrow indicating towards where to turn. However, the screen also contains the direction of heading(as North, East,South, West) and Time to Corner at the bottom half of the screen. How can I remove those two last metrics(direction of heading & Time to Corner) so that I can only see a map pop up with an arrow indicating whether I go(left/right/straight/etc)?  In other words, how can I remove the bottom half of the screen so that I can have a full screen-sized map promp up before a turn?

Reason I want to do that is because the North/East/South/West and Time to Corner metrics take a big part of the screen and I can't see the map well enough.

Note that in Settings/ Activity Profiles/ ROAD / Data Screens / Map / Layout and Data Fields I have 0 fields.

    How is that possible? When I cycle and use the navigation function, I obviously don't care whether I have to go East or West at a junction, I want to know whether I am supposed to turn left or right and want to see a full sized map so that I can see how I am approaching the junction. I thought that given that Garmin are pioneers of GPS navigation, those tiny details would be worked out and the navigation would be as intuitive to use as possible. I bought my device mainly due to the navigation. Showing East/West/North/South and time to corner on halft the screen as I approach a junction doesn't help me at all and makes me wonder whether I should consider returning the device.

    aweatherall is correct that you cannot alter this data field in the way you have specified . We will take this feedback into consideration.

    I saw a lot of picture and video that show instead of heading the dist. to a point. Why? is possible to change it?

    It is not possible to change this page, but Garmin did change the layout of this page in one of their software updates.

    The old layout had dist. to point as a data field. This was duplicating what was at the top of the page so they removed it as data field and just left it at the top of the page. They then adding heading in its place. So depending when the screenshots were taken you will see different layouts.
