Course deleted after stopping it?

It's the 3th time now i have this happening.

Start a course but sometimes the navigation doesn't work. If i then want to reload the same course i get a message that a course is still active and if want that course to be stopped.

If i then select yes (V) the course is stopped but... if i want to reload that same course, it's nowhere to be found anymore in the courses. If i then later hook the device up to my PC, the course doesn't exist anymore on the device.

Anybody else have this same problem?

    Where did this course file originally come from?

    GPX file, self made on Ride With GPS (like over 100 others i made). It happened not only with this course but a few others to. Not my GPS because i own a 810 but from a fellow rider. Last time it happened was last Sunday when he mentioned in the beginning that the navigation didn't work. We stopped to take a look, TBT list was there, decided to reload the course, i pressed the red X, GPS asked to stop the course and if i then confirmed, that particular course was nowhere to be found afterwarts. Took the device home with me, hooked it up to my PC, course no more present in the courses dir. It's the 3th time i see this happening on his device.

    830, latest firmware.

    I would recommend connecting your Edge to your computer, and then deleting the Courses folder from the Garmin folder on your device. After you unplug and restart, this folder will be recreated, but you will obviously lose any files in there. 

    I would also recommend re-downloading any courses you want to put back on so all files and folders are starting from scratch. This should help eliminate any potential corruption that may be causing this.
