Not recording in kms when I start an activity

Hello, I set up my units in metric on the device. I set my data to show distance and it shows in the data screen as kms. However, when I start an activity( mountain biking) the distance shows I’m Miles. Cant get it to show kms no matter what I do. Even tried to reset the unit with no luck.

Are you sure it is not starting in meters (m) and then switching to Km.

The unit settings are global and not profile specific.

If it is statute it will start in feet before switching to miles.

Hmm, that’s a good point. I haven’t tried to ride with it yet so will try that to see if it switches.
