How do i get strava segments starred in Strava but no sync on Garmin?

As the question says, how can i star segments on strava, but not got synced on Garmin. Of course i still want my activities to be synced to strava.

Things i've tried

1. Disable the use of Strava Live Segments on Garmin Connect Web

2. Disable the use of Strava Live Segments on Garmin Connect iOS

3. After disable delete all the segments. 

Both options still syncs the starred segments to the garmin edge. Very frustraiting. Garmin Support says is a Strava Issue but i think the control of what uploads or unloads of the device must be on garmin side.

    I think you (Garmin) have an issue with the lenght of the strava name and/or the indexing

    This segment is synced no matter the config

    "Subida Via Roja a Trekking Manquehue"

    But this ones not:

    "NEW Outlife Manquehue"
    "Conexión Egipcios"

    But this one, was the replacement for the first one: (3er position)

    ""Via Roja Manquehue" 

    And it keeps syncing. No matter what, the only way is to de-strarred the segments.
