Losing BT connection to my iPhone

Over the past month I have had several instances of when I turn on my 830 it does not connect to my iPhone. When I check my BT settings on the phone it just shows "(BLE) Edge 830 not connected" and my 830 constantly indicates "searching for the phone" (does show the correct phone name).  I end up having to pair again through Connect. Has anyone else had this issue and if so how to solve it?  Also I have shown at times under my iPhone BT devices both a BLE Edge 830 and BL Edge 830. What is the difference?   Thanks.
