Edge 830 v 7.00 doesn't detect Neo 2T (via bluetooth and ANT+)

My garmin edge 830 can't detect my neo 2T via either bluetooth or ant+.

The edge 830 does detect the neo 1, the elite suito, the vector and the stages, but not the Neo 2T.

I tried disconnecting my edge and my neo 2T (closing bluetooth from my phone computer and watch) from everything else, but still won't see the 2T in the nearby devices.

My neo 2T has no problems pairing with my phone, my computer and my forerunner 945.

My edge 830 is V 7.00 and my Neo 2T is V 0.0.37

Any one else have this problem?

If you are paired to the trainer then you don't pair to it as other sensor types. The information should come through on the trainer pairing.

May be there is a 1 trainer limit. Make sure the Neo 1 is removed from the Edge and then try again via the Indoor training menu option.

I have tried to remove all sensors from the edge, but that does not work.

What software build is on the Neo 2T? I have Neo 2T and Edge 830 paired without any issues.

Software 0.0.37

But since It can be paired with every other device I own I doubt the Neo 2T is the problem.

On the 830 what do you see when you select

Training -> Indoor Trainer

I have Neo 2T (0.0.36) and Edge 830 (7.0) paired without any issues

Thanks, it worked that way!

The only thing I still can’t see is the power and speed cadence sensor for the L/R balance!

Balance does not work if the cadence ans power sensor aren’t paired separately (that’s what garmin says at least)

But I found the issue. The ant+ in the tacx utility app was disabled...

the balance is a pseudo (estimated) balance with Neo2/2T, not true as with a dual V3 pedals, so pointless to seeing it...
